Episode 82 - How the Universe Works
The Universe operates in accordance with law. Some laws are physical; some are spiritual. Just as we participate in the law of gravity and manifest the presence or absence of bodily injury depending on our understanding, we participate in spiritual laws and manifest the presence or absence of prosperity, joy and abundance, depending on our understanding. It is up to us. In this episode we share about The Law of Circulation and how when we give freely of our time, energy, knowledge or money, it will come back to us multiplied. There are many factors that feed into how successfully we experience this law. Giving wisely and freely without guilt, self-sacrifice, duty, coercion or strings attached, opens a space in our consciousness to receive. There is a Flow to the Universe and Abundance is its natural state.

Physics - gravity, conservation of energy/mass and the speed of light
Spiritual - Law of Attraction, the Law of Cause and Effect, the Law of Increase and the Law of Circulation
The Law of Circulation:
All things in the Universe flow in circulation. This flow of energy is natural and ever-expanding, so as we give into it, we receive, and the more we give, the more we receive
Also called the Law of Reciprocity, the Law of Giving and Receiving and the Universal Golden Rule
Life is a flow of giving and receiving
When you give freely of your time, your energy, your knowledge or your money, it will come back to you multiplied
Abundance is a natural state
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38
This activity of Flow occurs in consciousness first
When we give freely with an open and compassionate heart, we receive good - in consciousness - at the same time
Giving from a raised Consciousness
Must be a free act, not one of coercion, self-sacrifice or with strings attached
Can take all kinds of forms - kindness, friendship, love, volunteering of time and talent, and also money
Money needs to be looked at closely, because it is often what we hold onto or feel fear/scarcity around the most
Fear/scarcity around money ties to everything else in our lives
Some considerations:
Give wisely - to where your giving will do the most good -- to someone or someplace that contributes to your personal growth or inspiration
To the best of your ability, give in proportion to the value you receive
That will open you to a greater experience of Flow
Giving frequently and regularly rather than in infrequent chunks, keeps you in circulation
Consistency in giving is more important than magnitude, because it keeps you in Flow
The Nature of Flow
If there is something you want, give that
Receiving
To be in flow you must make room for receiving in all forms
There is nothing noble about blocking any Good in any form that comes to you
Dialogue and Inquiry
What do you want more of in your life? What do you cling to? Take an honest look!
Where is your consciousness regarding the Law of Circulation? What are your blocks? Is it harder for you to give or receive? Do you understand why that is? Has it changed from the past?
Name some of the things you receive on a daily or weekly basis that you don't pay for.
Are you able to freely give money? How does this connect to other aspects of your life? Where, how and why do you give your money? Is it in proportion to the value of what you receive? (hint: that is often one of our edges)
Is your giving honestly free - meaning free of self-sacrifice, guilt, duty, strings attached, etc?
Closing Thought
I am One with the circulation of God’s Good. When I cling to anything, I stop the flow of giving and receiving. To receive more of what I truly desire, I willingly and freely let go. I give over to Spirit and trust that my desired outcome, or something better, will come back to me. I also open myself fully to becoming aware of what I already receive today, and receiving what others give to me, whether it be in the form of a compliment, a smile, offered help or money. I live in Divine Flow and I am abundant!
