Episode 85 - I Surrender
In our own way, we are each chosen to do what we are called to do. Using the Christmas story as allegory, we share in this episode what happens for us when we receive a "You are highly favored" call from Spirit. Like Mary in the story, the choice to surrender our personal will to Divine Will is the choice to be active as our Divine/Higher Self. From this place, we live a purposeful life, acting on inner guidance, and authentically expressing who we have come here to be. We each hold the potential to bring into manifestation a new Light for all people.
NOTES:
The Christmas story is not what you think
Matthew tells of Joseph, the wise men and Herod's decree to kill all male children
Luke tells of Mary, the census, the birth in a manger and the shepherds
They are two different stories
We can interpret it literally, historically, allegorically or metaphysically
Mary's opening story
“The angel went to her and said, ‘Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.’” Luke 1:28
“The angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.” Luke 1:30
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37
Being Chosen:
We too are chosen to create something in this world and bring new Light for all people
We have the choice to surrender our personal will to Divine Will, or not
Sometimes these "You are highly favored" calls come in small ways
Other times they can seem monumental
We can have many reactions:
Deflection: "Who me?" "Why me?" "Please not me."
Avoidance: "I didn't hear that!"
Overwhelmed: "That's too hard."
Surrender
“Then Mary said, ‘Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word.’” Luke 1:38
When we surrender to Divine Will within we are choosing to be active as our Divine/Higher Self
We open our hearts to receive miracles and guidance
We realize and express our purpose
We trust knowing good outcomes

I have a Divine purpose and am here to bring into the world the Spirit of God. With Love and Faith, I accept what is mine to do and be. I align my will with Divine Will, listen, and act on my guidance. As I joyfully bring a blessing to the world, I too am blessed.
