Episode 46 - What Are You Thinking?
What do you say when you talk to yourself? It's important to watch because our thoughts form our world. In this episode we explore what single limiting thought are we ready to release. It's very often hard to find because we tend to stop at our feeling or a much broader thought than the core driving thought. This is an important first step in creating the lives we truly want to live.
NOTES:
We build our world with our thoughts - Ideas, Judgments, Rationalizations and Beliefs
The book, As a Man Thinketh, by James Allen was published in 1903.
From As a Man Thinketh:
βMen do not attract what they want, but what they are."
"A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts."
"Cherish your visions. Cherish your ideals. Cherish the music that stirs in your heart, the beauty that forms in your mind, the loveliness that drapes your purest thoughts, for out of them will grow all delightful conditions, all heavenly environment, of these, if you but remain true to them your world will at last be built.β
Our subconscious mind drives our lives. It stores memories, past thoughts and feelings. There is no discernment.
Some of our thoughts have overstayed their relevance. They may have been useful at one point in our lives, but no longer are.
We can change our mind by changing our thinking. How to make it stick?
Self-awareness

Dialogue Questions:
What single thought are you willing to release this year? (think what you say when you talk to yourself)
What thought will you replace it with? How do you envision this shifting your life?
OR
Share a story when you released a non-life affirming thought. How did you do it and what happened in your life?
Affirmation
I go within to the core of my being, where I connect with Spirit at the heart level. In the safety of oneness, I release all fear. I accept the truth of who I am, and I recognize the power that emanates from within me. In awareness of my oneness with God, I am free to explore the outer limits of my comfort zone.
