Episode 20 - Establishing Personal Sovereignty Are We Living the Self-Evident Truths?

In this episode we look at the spiritual message in the second sentence of the Declaration of Independence as it pertains to us as individuals: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." Specifically we talk about how we allow others to be inferior or superior to us, honor our own Life force and pursue our own happiness.

NOTES:

The Declaration of Independence established a sovereign nation (“I am no longer under you or just a part of you”) entitled to privileges and responsibilities that come with sovereignty.

The second sentence: "We hold these truths to be self-evident., that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

This applies to our personal life as well as the nation. The question is, "Are we living these self-evident truths?"

Dialogue Questions

Do you live as though we are all created equal? Or do you live like some people are inferior or superior to you? Watch carefully who you defer to and who you want to control.

Do you honor and nourish the Life force  in you? (health, wholeness, balance) How can you take this to the next level?

Do you feel free (liberty) like a spiritual being? Or do you feel bound by other people's views/opinions or by patterns/beliefs from your past?

Are you actively pursuing your own happiness?

Affirmation

Every day is an Independence day when I consider my spiritual freedom. Despite any human constraints that may be put upon my actions, I am free to think my own thoughts and create and visualize new ideas. I am open to divine guidance, trusting and following my intuition. I thank God every day for the spiritual freedom which blesses me.
